"His disciples said, 'Lord, teach us to pray.'" Luke 11:1
We believe in lifelong learning. Much like the first disciples, who were essentially students, we are blessed to spend time at the feet of Jesus.
On Sunday mornings from September to May, the church serves a tasty breakfast for all ages between 8:30 and 9:00. Then there are several opportunities for personal growth at 9:00:
Led by Tim and Debbie Fulmer, this class takes up video series with special appeal to younger adults. We're looking for ways to apply these lessons to our daily lives.
Led by Jim and Jo Roy, this class follows a well-tested, traditional model from the Uniform Series. The Spring series focuses on the Gospel of John, the Book of Acts, and Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians. Booklets are available for each participant, with daily devotional readings.
Facilitated by Charles Runels, this class ventures into challenging material and questions. Currently the group is reading the Book of Acts, and learning how tensions among various Jewish sects and the occupying Roman forces shaped the early Christian Church.
Women’s Sunday School Class
Taught by Alice Villadsen, Jamie Davidson, and Dolly Crewes, this class fosters open discussion in an intimate environment. The class uses the Uniform Lesson series, often reading a verse at a time; each teacher brings a particular emphasis that makes for a rounded approach.
Wise Up and Live!
This 12-week study of the Book of Proverbs, led by Sharon Ahola, focuses on practical wisdom for daily life.
